Today, the Genome Sequencing and Gene Synthesis departments, along with their relevant acceleration units, were inaugurated. Under the activities of these two departments, the production of diagnostic kits, such as for colorectal, lung, and cervical cancers, as well as kits for viral RNA and DNA extraction, are among the services provided.
Norouzi, mentioning that about $25 million of foreign currency is currently unofficially leaving the country for these two services, said: “With the efforts of elite youth and their specialized actions, we can prevent the outflow of foreign currency while meeting domestic needs.
He emphasized: In addition to these, by achieving this technology, the center becomes a significant achievement in terms of security issues and preventing the sending of biological and biological samples of patients abroad.

The CEO of Barkat Pharmaceutical Gene Synthesis Company also said in this ceremony: “We did not have a research and specialized gene therapy center in our country, but with the establishment of this company and the launch of specialized accelerators, we have reduced the country’s problems in this area significantly.
Reza Shahbazi added: “We have formed the Genome Sequencing, Gene Synthesis, and Genetically Engineered Animal Production departments in this company; we played our role in the health system of the country by producing diagnostic kits for cancer detection and therapeutic bonding.
