Alireza Askari, referring to the continued increase in drug production at the Iranian Red Crescent, stated: From the 10th to the 17th of Dey month, a total of over 8 million and 600 thousand pharmaceutical units have been produced in the drug manufacturing facilities of this organization, showing a growth of over 500 thousand units compared to the week before this date.
He added: During this period, 4 million and 82 thousand units of acetaminophen, 369 thousand units of Aspirin capsules, and 443 thousand units of Azithromycin capsules have been produced at Saha Pharmaceutical Company to address the community’s needs in this regard at a faster pace.
Askari continued: Additionally, during this same period, 1 million and 189 thousand units of Naproxen, 1 million and 579 thousand units of Gabapentin 100, 298 thousand units of Gabapentin 300, 334 thousand units of oral Ibuprofen, and 322 thousand units of Magnesium Hydroxide syrup have been produced.
The CEO of the Medical Procurement Organization of the Iranian Red Crescent emphasized: All the capacities of the Iranian Red Crescent are currently utilized to more quickly meet the country’s pharmaceutical needs. Accordingly, production lines are operating day and night, leading to a weekly increase in drug production at the Iranian Red Crescent.
